organized, and willing to try new approaches."
Rebecca T. Bush has known how to put the right spin on things since she began her career. A tried-and-true Chicagoan, Rebecca moved to New York City on a whim in 2001, where she began her career in Public Relations (PR) at Penguin Group, USA. Mrs. Bush learned early on how to jump on headlines and get expert opinions heard.
In 2004, Rebecca created RTC Publicity, a boutique PR Agency that focused mainly on obtaining print, TV and radio features, otherwise known as “ traditional media relations.” She worked with many high profile clients such as Montel Williams, Phil Koeghan (Host of “The Amazing Race”), Curtis Stone (Australian celebrity chef), among many others. In 2010, Rebecca went back to her roots and re-launched RTC Publicity to specialize in book publicity. In doing so, Rebecca has split her career evenly, by representing various mid-sized lifestyle businesses and authors and publishing houses. This diversity of clientele has given her a unique sensibility when promoting each of her clients.
RTC Publicity’s PR portfolio includes a large cross-section of companies in the food, family, fashion, franchise, tech, wedding industries as well as publishing clients. Regardless of the category of client, where Rebecca finds her greatest joy in marketing is in making an unknown name, well-known or working with start-up companies (or debut authors), ushering them to profits and creating a foundation for success. The bottom-line is PR should, in fact, produce a return on investment over time.
Rebecca recently relocated to picturesque Tampa, Florida. She is now focusing on serving local Florida authors and escorting authors touring the region. She currently has a column in Women’s Voices Magazine, a premiere online women’s magazine.
She graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, CT, with a BA in Spanish and Italian, proving that communication is a fundamental aspect of her life. She is recently married and enjoys church, yoga, cooking, traveling, reading and researching alternative health topics.
